Dear Readers,
You may have noticed that my domain name has changed. www.PregnancyBaby411.com now redirects to www.MyPregnancyBaby.com (my new URL).
*** Please spread the word about my new domain name. Please link to it in your own posts, or add it to your blog roll. I need all the help that I can get. ***
I am in critical need of any help that I can get from Mom and Daddy Bloggers Out There.
I have been going through a bad spell in my personal life. You may have noticed that I don’t post daily – like I used to. Sometimes, life throws you curveballs, and it’s been throwing a lot my way recently. I’m attempting to hit them, but more and more just come my way.
Laid off in June
In June, my entire company downsized due to changes in Google’s algorithm. All of my co-workers and I lost our jobs (laid off). I scrambled to find freelance writing gigs, and I now have a stable freelance work that allows me to pay my bills. (I also freelance for my old boss, occasionally). I’m not making as much as I used to, and my income has suffered a huge hit.
Banned from Google Adsense Program
I was banned from Google Adsense around the time that I was laid off. Google refuses to readmit me to their program, saying that someone has been falsely clicking on my ads. (I first noticed that I had a huge number of false clicks one Saturday morning in April. Ironically, around the same time, certain things occurred that have led me to change my domain name.)
Google Adsense has banned me FOR LIFE from their program. They refuse to give me any more detail about it, and because I don’t have any program in place that kept track of IP addresses on my blog, I cannot prove that it wasn’t ME who clicked on my ads. I NEVER CLICK on my ads, but I don’t have any way to prove this. So, I lost the biggest revenue source for my blog. This really hurt.
Thank goodness that I was able to find other advertising sources. They aren’t able to get me the same amount of money that I was getting from Google Adsense, but I’m trying to think positively. A little bit here and there adds up in the long run.
Must Move my Domain Name
As of right now, I cannot tell you why I have to move my domain name. But I’ve been forced to move my domain name.
Please Spread the Word about My New Domain Name
My new domain name is www.MyPregnancyBaby.com. Please help me spread the word about it. Google is slowly indexing all of my pages on this blog (I have over 500), and I have lost all of the back links that I’ve gained in the past eight months. The Google Page Rank of 4 that I’ve worked so hard to get is now back to zero.
I need all of the back links that I can get. So, please share this post with your friends (or share any of the other posts that you enjoy on this blog.) If you have linked to me in the past, please update those URLs with this new one.
“Hip Chick’s Guide to PMS, Pregnancy and Babies” is now located at www.MyPregnancyBaby.com.
How You Can Help Me
I would LOVE for all of you to link to my blog on your own blogs, or add me to your blog-roll. I know this isn’t realistic, but the more that link to me, the better my new start at this new domain name.
Yeah, I see the point of it all… thanks for sharing 🙂

Don’t worry girl–you are amazing and so talented! Love you!
Hi DP,
Hoping things start looking up for you from here on out! ((hugs)) I really appreciate your invitation to me to guest blog here earlier in the year, so let me know what else I can do to help. Your blog button is still on my blog. 🙂
I give a like on FaceBook. I like your new domain name. I am one of your newest fans.
Thank you so much, Jennifer.
Sorry to hear about your recent stretch of bad luck. Hopefully things will turn around for you. I also got BANNED from Google AdSense, through some “improper clicking” which was not done by me. So I feel your pain on that front. I’ll keep checking out your blog, and I’ll link to it on my blog too. Cheers!
